To reserve a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) or Labrador (Lab) you must do the following: 1. Complete our Reservation form specifying which color, markings and gender of pup you want. 2. Send a minimum deposit of $200 (which gets applied toward the final price) You can call 402-374-1765 to give us your card number over the phone or mail a check. 3. We will then email or call you to confirm that your deposit was received and verify your preference to the gender, color, performance, and to the best of our ability, the litter/picking order of your pup is reserved. 4. The deposit is non-refundable so please, do your research and make sure that a Pheasant Bonanza puppy is what you want and that you have no specific timeframe as we cannot control Mother Nature. Pricing of pups – Our pups are sold for $750.00-$1150.00. Standard Breeding pups are $750 for AKC limited registration and $950 for AKC full registration. Performance Breeding pups are $950 for AKC limited registration and $1150 for AKC full registration. Full registration is only needed for breeding. Yes, we discount the pricing $200 if you don’t intend to breed. You can change to full registration at a later date if you decide you want to breed and you can still compete in AKC events with limited registration. Our standard breeding pups don’t mean that they are not going to be performance pups; we just know and have proven results that the performance litters will perform at higher levels than the average pups. We want our pups placed in homes that truly want a special pup and that are willing to wait for the right pup, a natural talented pup and a home that isn’t trying to get the quickest pup available. With your deposit you show you are serious about owning a Pheasant Bonanza puppy and you will be assured of a place in the pick order. It depends on the success of our breeding program, the sires/dams, our puppy evaluation program, etc, as to whether or not you will receive a pup from a specific litter and in the estimated time frame. There are so many factors we cannot control, female’s heat cycles, whether the breeding was a success, color, litter size, gender, which pups perform on birds, etc. However, we can control which pups represent Pheasant Bonanza and in what capacity. If you desire a “high performance puppy”, we have an evaluation program and we recommend it. It costs an additional $200 but it includes birds and puppy drills the last three weeks the pup is in our care. We are serious about our puppy evaluation program; we feel it truly gives you a chance to own the type of dog you desire. If you sign up for the evaluation course, we are not going to ship a pup, or schedule a pickup, if your pup doesn’t pass our checklist for “birdiness” and drive. Our pups are held until 8 weeks of age and we do not allow them to leave prior to according to NE State Law. Please don’t ask, the answer will be “NO”. Our pups are sold primarily as gun dogs, family companions and for active working purposes, not as breeding stock. We do not prohibit you from breeding but we do recommend you wait until your pet is 2 years of age or older to breed and to have all the health checks performed prior to breeding to ensure the quality and health of th offspring. If the whelping is successful and you are fortunate to be in line for one from the litter, your balance will be due. We are serious about our pup’s future and if there is a problem with pickup or shipping on the predetermined date (provided by us), we will charge a boarding fee of $26.50 per night. If you would like us to find a host family to start socializing and potty training the puppy we will do that for $28 per day with minimum of 2 weeks. In addition to the purchase price, the buyer will be responsible for all costs associated with transporting the pup, including a veterinarian’s health check and/or acclamation report ($100), air or other transport costs ($200-$600), costs of a transport crate ($55-$85), trip fee to airport ($100), and any other delivery-related costs. If you would like to stay on-site at Nebraska’s only Orvis endorsed lodge, please schedule this prior to arrival. We would love to have you as our guest. *It depends on Mother Nature as to whether or not you will receive a pup from a specific litter and in the estimated time frame/** Our hip & eye guarantee is a money back or replacement pup compensation, there are no reimbursements for any vet services.Please type your name and date below to agree to the above statement.
