Trent Leichleiter
Managing Partner

Trent leads Pheasant Bonanza with deep experience guiding upland and waterfowl hunts and managing all lodge and field operations. He grew up hunting with his father and brings passion for the outdoors and guest experience to every season.
Sheri Slatt
Chief Operating Officer
Sheri oversees daily operations and guest services, bringing hospitality and a fearless work ethic to everything she does. She is often one of the first friendly faces you’ll see upon arrival and is known for making guests feel right at home.
Jase Sorenson
Head Dog Trainer & Guide

Jase has been with Pheasant Bonanza since 2020 and leads dog training while guiding guests in the field. Introduced to hunting at a young age, he brings patience, heart, and a deep love for bird hunting to every experience, valuing the memories made both in the field and back at the lodge.

Jager, in his third season guiding at Pheasant Bonanza, grew up hunting and working outdoors. He brings enthusiasm and family tradition to his role in the field and operations.

Nate supports day-to-day operations at Pheasant Bonanza, helping ensure hunts, lodging, and guest experiences run smoothly from start to finish.

Kennel Manager
Michael manages the kennel at Pheasant Bonanza, focusing on the daily care, training support, and overall well-being of the bird dogs that play a central role in the hunting experience.

First Season at Pheasant Bonanza. She will be the very first smiling face that welcomes you and your guest!

Lodge Manager
First season at Pheasant Bonanza. Jackson takes pride in making sure our Ben Schoonover lodge and cabins are in perfect shape as our guest are arriving and staying.

Jason is in his eleventh season at Pheasant Bonanza and has hunted birds as long as he can remember, starting with his first Red Rider as a young boy. He brings seasoned field expertise and a love for upland experiences.

Andy has been guiding at Pheasant Bonanza for over sixteen seasons and brings a lifetime of upland hunting experience. Introduced to hunting at age five, he continues to share his expertise in the field.

Greg has been a guide at Pheasant Bonanza for over sixteen seasons, drawing on a lifetime spent in the outdoors and upland cover. His experience creates confident, fun hunts for guests of all levels.
Troy Wakefield
Guide
Troy is a long-tenured guide with sixteen seasons of upland experience. Growing up on a family farm, he developed a lifelong connection to the outdoor lifestyle and field work.
Tony Miller

Tony brings eight seasons of guiding experience to Pheasant Bonanza, starting upland hunting with his grandfather at age 14 and continuing with dedication and local expertise.
