We purchased a little brindled female lab puppy from Trent and Katie. She is a sweet dog who loves to play fetch and is crazy about birds!

Trent was great about letting us visit the pups at any time so we could get to know them. The parents were well cared for, well mannered, and great hunters. We think Indy will be the same.

We would recommend one of Trent's puppies to anyone!

I recently purchased a puppy from Pheasant Bonanza Hunt Club and Kennel. This is my third hunting dog and already I know that I have a fantastic hunting partner. We bought a lab from Trent Leichleiter who had a yellow lab named Duece (the father) and a black lab named Saunders. I am so impressed with the early abilities this puppy has already shown. At just 7 weeks old Charger our pup saw and grabbed the first live bird she had ever seen. The desire she showed to retrieve this bird was so unbelievable.
When she was 8 weeks old I wanted to see if she would retrieve in water so I threw a rock into our small pool. Needless to say she not only retrieved the rock but stuck her head under water to get it.
I would highly recommend a puppy from Trent and his male hunting dog Duece. Charger is extremely intelligent and has a perfect demeanor for my boys ages 8 and 5.

We purchased our dog from Pheasant Bonanza as a puppy in the spring of 2007. We started his training there at six months old. The training they have given our dog Kirby has been unbelievable! Kirby has competed in the PHU trials and has done very well. He has also competed in the Regional & National trials and done very well also. His last competition was in the AKC LICENSED HUNT TEST and he earned his JUNIOR HUNT TITLE. Kirby accomplished this through the excellent training of his trainer's & handler's who are Trent, Ethan, Chuck, Mike, Brad, and Josey. We are looking forward for the fall of 2008 competitions and we are going to try and get Kirby his AKC SENIOR TITLE.

I have traveled all over the nation, hunted at several clubs in the northeast; none of these clubs have rivaled Pheasant Bonanza in terms of facilities, staff and hunting.

Pheasant Bonanza provides an enjoyable experience for hunters of all ages and experience levels. Their staff will take the time to teach guests proper gun safety and techniques to ensure a successful hunt. The sporting clay course offers the best of all facets of clay shooting. Excitement, challenge, and variety, mimicking as closely as it can the thrill of hunting.

Any other club that I have visited does not rival the conference facilities and the lodge. The lodge sports all the creature comforts that highly successful execs have become accustomed, satellite TV, broadband internet, everything a busy exec needs for a weekend out of the office. Capable of housing more than forty overnight guests, Pheasant Bonanza is perfect for hosting weekend team building exercises.

I just wanted to take a minute and send you a THANK YOU for everything this weekend. It was the best hunt I have ever been on for pheasant (really for any animal). Thanks for the nice shotguns, that was a big surprise on Sunday morning and I can't wait to get to use them. I also appreciate you letting me borrow your personal truck on Sunday to get to the airport. It helped me out a lot and I hope everything was okay when you came back from your trip. So I guess the whole email is just one big THANK YOU and we all appreciate it.

I would highly recommend spending a day at Pheasant Bonanza. I participated in the European hunt this year and it was by far the best hunting experience I have ever had. I had the opportunity to shoot more birds than I have ever dreamed of. The best experience was the clean up hunt and watching the Pheasant Bonanza team and the dogs work the fields. The facilities are outstanding and the staff is exceptional. Also, I recommend the sporting clay course. It is very well designed and a great way to test your shooting ability.

Hi,

My family had a reunion at your lodge in July and we want to thank you for all the little extras. We had fourteen adults and seven children under 6. There was plenty of room, so we could separate the kids for sleeping and a large lawn to play in. The kitchen was big enough to cook for that many without walking on each other. One night we had a cookout and they have big grills to use. Even with that many children the lodge was quiet. The kids enjoyed going up and seeing the puppies and the dogs. One evening they brought a pony down for the kids to ride and they enjoyed that. It is a very nice and private place to enjoy the family.

I've been hunting upland game and shooting clays since the age of 8, thanks to my Father, in many different states and in many different environments. After 20 years, I can say without a doubt that Pheasant Bonanza is by far the best overall experience I've ever had. My hunting partners that accompanied me are all in complete agreement. It has everything for everybody. I typically hesitate to recommend hunts/outings to anyone, but this is the ONE place that I have recommended to everyone I know. There hasn't been a single individual that hasn't called me afterwards and said that it was one of the best experiences they've ever had. Look at all that Pheasant Bonanza has to offer and count on everything being the best of the best. The dogs, kennels, lodging, guides and service take first prize in every category.

If you're looking for an outstanding hunting and shooting experience, Pheasant Bonanza is the place, bar none. After a wonderful early afternoon hunt of pheasant and quail, we had our go at the sporting clay course...what a fantastic set up.

One thing is certain, I'll be getting my next hunting dog there. We were given a demonstration of how they train their dogs, along with a tour of the kennels. TOP NOTCH. I was just amazed by the quality of each breed they had. Awesome.

After a great day of hunting upland game, along with some good shooting at the sporting clay course, it couldn't have been nicer to relax and enjoy the view on the deck of the lodge. Beautiful. Pheasant Bonanza really has it all. And as important as anything, their staff is as good as it gets.

I'll be back, hopefully sooner than later.

Hello Scott,
Thanks for sponsoring our soccer team, Elkhorn Velocity. Velocity has started this season out well by winning the Elkhorn Soccer Festival. The tournament was just held on August 11,12 and 13th. Velocity had games with teams from Kansas, Omaha and Papillion.

I have attached a photo of the team holding their trophies. We were a bit wet because it had rained most of the day.
