"You have an excellent staff. It seems all they want is what is best for their client and I hunted with three of them. The cook is amazing and every time I seen him he was busy, a one man show."
"I just returned from Pheasant Bonanza and the hunt was incredible from the time I arrived, until I had to leave. I will definitely be back. Thanks, Trent, staff, and crew...."

I’d wanted to visit Pheasant Bonanza since hunting with one of their dogs at another lodge. I was impressed then, and more so when we made some episodes of Wingshooting USA there recently. The grounds are varied and managed carefully for birds and good dog work. The setting is beautiful, staff accommodating and fun to be with. The dogs,....were stellar!
Roosters is a 1950’s hunting lodge styled bar and restaurant for members, guests, and friends of Pheasant Bonanza. Overlooking the rolling hills of our hunting fields, we offer a well edited wine list, an artisan vintage drink menu as well as the working man’s beer and whiskey.
Step up to the bar for a drink or relax on the patios overlooking the Loess Hills. Enjoy the rustic barn wood interior while you visit with friends or watch your favorite sports team on TV. We want you to sit back, relax and let us to do the work.
Roosters can accommodate around 100 people for parties and rental. Our goal at Roosters is to offer exceptional food and beverage in a comfortable, relaxed setting. We provide exceptional service along with a first class menu and beverage selection. Please jump to the contact page to make your reservation or inquiry.

With a new lodge to be finished fall 2015, Pheasant Bonanza will be able to offer fresh produce and herbs on site.
Our menu incudes such specialties as Gingerbread Pancakes, Rosemary Sausage Gravy with Biscuits, Rustic Peasant Style Wild Bird Soup, Pheasant Parmesan, as well as house made breads and homestyle dessert favorites like fresh baked apple pie. Come for the hunting, and come back for the food!
