We had a great turnout for this competition! The weather cooperated as well-all in all it was a great weekend.
In the pointing division, Lowell Roeber won first, with his German shorthair pointer Tuff, and their score was 167. The time was 3:03.
Second and third went to Les Roeber. Second was with Maddie, a GSP. Their score was 164 and time was 6:20. Third was a run with Smoke, also a GSP, with a score of 155 and a time of 10:54.
The flushing division first place went to Mike Winkler and his lab Candy. They scored 166 with a time of 4:19.
A really close second went to Gary McDonald. He ran his English Springer Spaniel, Hurl, and got a score of 166 with a time of 4:28.
Steve Foster and his lab Bud won third with a score of 161 and a time of 3:19.
Thank you to everyone who participated! We’re only 2 competitions away from the championship, where we’ll be giving a rim fire rifle as the prize for the winner of each division.
I am sure it was a wonderful experience. I wish I had been there, not as a participant but as an observer. Let’s hope that you will win the next competitions and become the winner. Wish you good luck!
